I think we can all agree it's really frustrating to open a relevant ad and find that the salary is a fork between 20$ and 25$ or even worse when they don't show it at all.
What does that fork even mean? Will I get more depending on my experience, how do you measure that?
Because most of the time from what I've tried when they give you a fork like this, one should always assume they'll get the lowest amount.
Once you're in the interview they'll try to lowball you into accepting it or they will get someone more lenient. I feel like this serves as a form of compliance test as well.
Also always hated the 'what is your expected salary' question, for fuck's sake who the hell is hiring?
To me this is too much of a giveaway that they have something to hide or that they try to sugarcoat the position because if they were honest, no one would show up.
