I’ve been out of work and having a lot of difficulty finding any. I’ll be okay for the most part without working but I need to soon otherwise I won’t be able to afford rent. I applied to a job that, halfway through the application, said they require a license and a car, neither of which I have. I live in a city and take the bus everywhere, which has never been a problem.
I lied and said I have a license and a car because I wouldn’t have been able to continue the application otherwise. I know I’d be a good candidate for the job and I don’t think not having a license or a car should prevent me from getting the job even though I know it can.
Now I’ve just finished the application and I can go ahead and schedule a phone interview. I need the job and it’s been so hard finding work. I’ve been applying like crazy with no luck. I don’t know what to do because they’re probably gonna ask for my license and proof of a car which I don’t have.
What should I do?
