Does anyone else find themselves not wanting to work “too hard” for the company they work for because hard workers are always expected to do more and more without any sort of reward? Sorry I hope that makes sense. My current company has a couple of workers on our team who go above and beyond and put in long hours and work weekends etc etc and I just do my 8 hours and log off and haven’t been asked to work more hours or do anything extra and I’m ok with that. I don’t see the point in wasting your weekends working for a place that won’t recognise your hard work with anything but piling more work for you to do and expecting it to always be like that….. am I wrong or lazy for thinking this way?
