He works for one of the top 5 largest employers in our area and it's one of the few that pays more that the standard $15-16 an hour.
He was telling me yesterday how he needed to go out to Uber since his check was going to be low this pay period (2 weeks).
Apparently these clowns advertise paying $18.50 an hour, but $4 of that is an “attendance bonus” which they will retroactively remove from the entire pay period if you clock in 1 minute late.
How is that shit legal?
