I am a 7th year teacher this year so I am not new. Earlier this month I put in my intent to return as no. I have been doing everything this school asked for including doing science club and other extra things they ask for. Out of the blue today with no prior warning they fired me saying that I seemed checked out after giving my notice. I have been doing my lesson plans and even had a good walkthrough where all my kids were on task. I am mostly venting and a tad pissed but I filed for unemployment and have another job and family support lined up out of state. It's just sooner than I expected because I was going to move at the end of June not within a week…
