As the title says, I have been trying to get a new job. Over the summer I got my cannabis badge and applied to a bunch of dispensaries. I’ve interviewed at 6 dispensaries. I’ve been ghosted by 5. When this last one came up, I thought I KILLED in the interview. I answered every question the correct way, made them laugh, and asked for a ballpark of when they’d get back to me about the position, as I’d been ghosted by 5 other dispensaries. They assured me they’d get back soon, and so yesterday I wrote a thank you email (as you’re told to do!!!) and said I looked forward to hearing back.
They went with someone else.
I’m so fucking tired of people complaining that nobody wants to work.
I DESPERATELY want to work in a field I can be useful and helpful in. But something about me is just not it. It’s heartbreaking.
