I work full time and love my job (most days anyway).
I'm a paramedic so I might be doing anything from picking your 97 YO grandmother up off of the floor or making a diabetic a sandwich to running your sick child to the hospital with a full team of people in the back while driving code 3 or doing CPR and comforting a family who has just lost a loved one.
I get paid pretty well for my field compared to most and things are mostly getting better.
But fuck me, a $75 surprise almost broke me when I looked at my account and, I just got paid.
I'm not looking for advice, I know what I need to do and I know that part of this is on me for previous choices, I just needed to vent before I get home and have to figure out how my partner and I are going to make things work to actually reach our goals.
