Just had a manager tell a group of us before a party she negotiated the tip to 5% from 20%

WTF Why would you tell your employees that … ever? There are people I work with who are paycheck to paycheck. Why would you negotiate down? It was a huge corporation who has no idea the difference between $500 and $2000 for a party they'll write off. (party was a $10k+ party). There were ten of us. She told us she thought $50 each was fair. WTF She didn't give a shit b/c the $10k helped her hit her goals and taking money out of our pockets doesn't affect her.
