ive been working for a distribution depot for a retail store for 3 years now. today was it for me. i was talking to a coworker in the backroom where they keep the equipment. i went in there looking for a machine to get on and i ran into him in there doing the same. we chatted for at the most one minute about trying to get one to help run merchandise and a very quick word about something else unrelated (god fobid theres just a moment of socialization on the floor and be normal humans here and there for quick moments such as this) and our fat fucking powertripping supervisor was stalking us outside of the backroom. later on we both got a counseling notice. told him im not signing shit and he said its a write up next time he catches us. you literaly cant fucking stop working for shit without him or any higher up barking at you trynna bring you down. its insain.. my manager recently tried telling me i need a dr note because i go to the bathroom for too long. sorry i cant shit in 3 minutes and i work full time so i gotta shit more than once throughout the shift because i eat on all my breaks throughout it. his office is next to the bathroom and told me he listens to us from his office to catch us talking and chattering. i cant work with a bunch of hellbent creeps with nothing better to do than using every chance they can to powertrip like its a fucking prison. meanwhile the supervisors gather up all throughout the day chatting up bout god knows what sitting there laughing and joking. if us regulars do it for even a few moments… all hell breaks loose. its so fucking dehumanizing. i get it theres a job to do but stopping for a few brief moments here and there will not fucking ruin anything. these supervisors waste so much fucking time everyday bullshitting with eachother on the floor watching everyone work twiddling there thumbs when were slammed. its a fucking joke. im praying to god this transfer gives me peace. im at my breaking point
