Keeping up appearances at a remote job

I am 38 and have been working at this company for the last 6 years. Recently, I was able to relocate back to US and work remotely 100%. I was really expecting them to let me go when I asked to move back home but somehow my manager was able to keep me on with the same salary and same role but remote. Unfortunately, I am checked out of this job. I don't enjoy the work, I don't enjoy the coworkers, and we have too many budget challenges and just feels like a mess.

However, the job is 100% remote and I am very priviliged to be in this position.

How do I just skate by? I want to continue working and just staying under the radar and have my work life balance and collect a paycheck. Eventually, I want to be managed out and they give me a severance. I don't like the job but I love the benefits it gives mainly salary and remote. I don't think I want to work in corporate again and trying to figure out what I want to do next. Do you have tips on how to be productive enough so that you don't get fired and eventually they lay you off? The reason I don't want to apply for new jobs is because fully remote in hard to find and I want to take a break from work and find out if I can do something else besides being a corporate drone.
