My company told the whole staff at a branch meeting that if we worked the Saturday before and the Tuesday after that Labor day would be a paid holiday. So I worked those days and come to find out on my check today that I wasn’t paid for that time. I contacted them and the excuse was basically that they got their wires crossed and that was true last year, but not this year. Sorry. What the fuck? That should be illegal. I would have done something with my family. Just needed to vent.
