I'm in middle management and everyone from my director up to the VPs and even the CEO implement changes and processes but don't follow them.
A small instance is requiring cameras on for all zoom meetings. First meeting this is now mandatory, the CEO and two of my VPs don't have their cameras on. So I am not going to do it either. If higher ups don't follow their own rules then why should I?
This is a reminder to do the bare minimum, don't let your bosses berate you and treat them the way they treat you-give no thanks, no appreciation and no recognition for efforts.
Better yet, leave the job (I'm looking but damn the job market rn)
