The leadership and executives at my company are having trouble understanding why so many employees leaving when:
-They laid off 20% of our staff with no warning in Spring.
-Cost of Living adjustments were put off until the layoff happened and leadership confirmed that COL adjustments weren't happening due to “budget” issues.
-No incentives were given to the remaining staff whos workloads doubled or tripled from the layoff.
-They want to phase out WFH.
More stuff is happening but those are the main issues.
