Legit workaround or devious fuck over

The last company I worked for did some questionable things and some flat out illegal things when it came to how they treated their employees. Working thru lunch cus the concrete truck was there happened way more than it should have and got to the point they were planning on it because there would be little ceasers pizza somewhere for us to scarf down when we could. My question is on an 8 hr shift if we break for lunch after 4 hrs does that cover all the ohsa requirements? Only getting a lunch break was a daily thing, and sometimes when I had to drive to another jobsite or gas station to use the bathroom I would get my pay docked because of it. Not sure if it matters but I work in KY where they are actively trying to repeal the laws that guarantee workers lunch breaks among other laws that benefit employees. Lawmakers have done a damn good job of busting up local unions when the made it a right to work state and if they are able to repeal the laws they want to, ohsa regulations will be the only line of protection for most all blue collar workers not in a union, granted some companies will still do right by their employees…but many won’t.
