Let go for being too productive?

I think I was just let go for being too productive. I work as an independent contractor for an online content company, and a couple of days ago they released a large batch of projects to the writer pool. I grabbed nearly all of them and then worked diligently over the past two days, investing about 26 hours into the work. As I was finishing up today, I saw six remaining articles get deleted from my queue and all of my writing teams disappeared from my portal. I am hoping that the company has temporarily paused my access to allow for other writers to claim work so that clients have a variety of voices in their material. But the severe anxiety I have accrued from working under capitalism tells me that my independent contractor services are no longer needed and I have been let go without a word. I emailed…

I emailed my editor and am anxiously awaiting a response. It is excruciating to me that I cannot seem to obtain employment and have resorted to independent contractor work for years now, living without health insurance or sick days, and now that may be disappearing as well.
