Just signed a mutual termination and went on sick leave two days after because I felt unwell – somehow feeling bad about that?

Long story short, I've worked in delivery for half a year. Worst job I've ever had – exploitation, you have to deliver sometimes up to 12kms per order, have to reschedule your breaks, your breaks are cut shorter, in winter you can't sit somewhere inside when you don't have an order and you have to stay on alert outside in the snow… and it goes on and on. My mental health took a large hit, I even cried a few times. Recently I've found a new, good job and I'm gonna work there normally very soon. So I wrote about mutual termination to my current employer. I had to choose that I would work there till the end of April, cause there was a possibility that they could reject it if I chose an earlier date. They accepted it, I signed it two days ago, everything went smooth. And now…

I had to choose that I would work there till the end of April, cause there was a possibility that they could reject it if I chose an earlier date. They accepted it, I signed it two days ago, everything went smooth. And now the weather is so bad it's hardly possible to deliver anything on time and I already had to work few days while being sick this week. So now, feeling a little bit better, I finally went to the doctor and she gave me a sick leave for one week with a possibility of extending it to the end of the month, because I told her how bad I feel about working there. They also accepted the sick leave, but somehow now I feel like a bad person? It's a big company so they probably don't really care and in this country the employer has to pay you when you're sick up to 6-8 weeks so I'm basically earning while I lay in bed. So basically I sit at home, but when I'm trying to relax I also have this anxiety about all of that. Anyone ever did something like that? Did the companies care or were problematic about paying out the salary?

Well, this post doesn't really have a conclusion, but if y'all ever consider working in a big delivery company (delivering on a bike) – think twice I guess
