I work at a restaurant. It’s a nice restaurant, and the pay is quite good – when they actually put me on the schedule. Obviously, the pay is only good because of tips, as restaurants in America only ‘pay’ you like $6 an hour, but I digress. When I started working there, they didn’t schedule me much, but that’s to be expected. After about a month working there, they begun to schedule me more, and I was making a very decent amount of money. I’m good at my job, customers love me and frequently tip over 20%. Management, on the other hand, does not love me. I’m not entirely sure why, but if I had to guess, I’d say it’s because I checked my manager’s ego.

I like most of my coworkers a lot, but the manager is a complete POS. He’s the type to yell at people when they haven’t done anything wrong, just because he can. It’s particularly bad with me. My first week there, I tried to bring the issue to him constructively and respectfully, by taking him aside and saying “hey, I feel like you possess a certain level of animosity towards me, and I’d like to have a healthy work environment, so how can we fix it?” He replied by saying “if you don’t like it, then fucking leave, I won’t lose a second of sleep over it.” He said he’s “very successful at what he does, and he’s not going to change for me or for anyone else.” Me, a little annoyed, replied with “I’m not asking you to change. I’m telling you that your methods of management are shit.” He hasn’t liked me since.

Fast forward a few months. I’m still working there, still doing my job quite well, but they barely schedule me at all anymore, despite me politely asking for more shifts. They schedule people who quit and came back more than they schedule me. So, I’m looking to quit since it’s not worth working there anymore.

So, I’m looking to you guys for ideas on how to fuck with management and make his life more miserable than it already is WITHOUT doing anything illegal or anything that can get me sued. Keep in mind that the owner of the restaurant is actually really nice – it’s just the loser manager I want to fuck with.
