Ive been working for a local government in AZ for about a year now. We hire all part time staff as “temporary employees”. Even though they are considered temporary they are never actually treated or used as temporary employees. There are some temps that have worked here for 8+ years. I was told we do it this was because “it makes it easier and faster to let people go”. Is this even legal?
