Not sure if I’m in the wrong sub, but I’m looking for insight or if someone can relate…
I’ve been unemployed for over a year and this is the first time I’ve been out of work this long. I’ve been looking for a job all this time, but I’m having a hard time going back to work and have turned down some interviews. People close to me ask me constantly if I started working or got interviewed and I just lie and say nobody has reached out when I reality I’m not trying. Honestly it feels nice to take a break and focus on other things other than working although this break took longer than intended.
