Looking for a gauge on other people’s work from home experiences because mine sucks

I'm currently working from home for a Verizon as a Customer service rep (aka sales) and its so demoralizing. Micro managed where you can get written up for not properly coding a 30 second water break. I can get in trouble for not pressuring a person into keeping service when a family member has died, and talking to me is the only way to remove that service. Shit feels like it should be illegal. pay is alright comes out to about 21-23$ before taxes and if you work weekends and include the yearly bonus. So today I'm asking around and seeing what other people are doing and how they like it… or at least how little they dislike it. I can do both tech and customer facing things like a breeze but this is just too immoral for me.
