Hi, I'm looking for a way out of working full-time within the next 2 to 5 years. Before we begin, I probably need therapy, but in terms of trying to save up as much of a rainy day fund as possible so that I can spend less of my life working, I'm not 100% sure that therapy is the answer.
Right now I am blessed to be living with my Dad, prior to that, I spent about 6 years apartment living, saving maybe $300ish per month. Now I'm generally saving about $3,000 per month.
If I saved that much money for about 2 to 3 years, what should I do with it to put myself in a position to be able to work part-time?
My thoughts right now are to buy a decent RV and do seasonal work, or find an area where I could by a tiny home and buy that with cash, and be in an area where I can find part-time work.
My job specialties are general warehouse/factory/production work. I'd love to work from home but I see that it's really hard to get into tech right now and I don't think I'll be able to gain the required skill set anytime soon with how little time I have to study it.
Basically, I'm a wannabe animator who feels behind in life, I'd like to commit my life to improving my art and animation skills, I have no plans of having a girlfriend, or having kids, and just want to get myself into a situation where I can spend as much time as I can animating. I loathe working, especially full-time, but I'm willing to put up with it for 2 years, maybe 5 years if it means I can navigate myself into a position to be able to have time for passion/hobbies and to breathe.
