Looking for work – what does it take to get a decent wage?

I was just looking at every single job available in my area on Indeed.com. I'm in Canada and it seems to be impossible to get a job that pays more than $25 an hour. The range of wages seems to be: Fast food/retail = $15 an hour General labour/warehouse/living heavy stuff = $18 an hour Travelling Wind Turbine Technician (actual job posting I saw) = $25 You're telling me I could learn to fix wind turbines and work a job on the road and that still only gets me a measly 25 bucks an hour??? If you want to make more than that you have to be the director of an entire department and have 20 years experience Meanwhile houses cost a million dollars literally
