Cashier at WalMart told me she only makes $14 wn hour. I told her I was told they started everyone out at 15. She said that was true for a while but now sometimes it's less than $14 an hour.
Just out of my own curiosity I looked through some job postings locally. My God this is terrible.
Positions that were hiring at $15 an hour or more less than a year ago have dropped down to $11 or $12 an hour. So I looked at surrounding areas and it's the same. Employers have lowered their wages. I get that $15 an hour is not enough to live in and wasn't that much money, but in the flip side it's not that much fucking money and they are taking it from the people that desperately need it the most. I mean it's such a small amount of money for these big corporations yet they deem it worth taking from all these employees. It's so fucked up.
