Manager complains about having to do manager things

I’m not sure if my title makes sense. The roles in my job are basically managers, the teams of managers, and then the admin. Lately, in my work place the manager has been pushing for admin team to be on practically 24/7. This includes answering texts, calls, and emails even way after hours (scheduled hours are supposed to be 9-6, and we’ll get calls roughly 9-11pm afterwards). And you get huge pay with it! We’re admin so our pay is a far cry from what management gets, obviously. But she constantly complains about how she has to stay and do this and how it’s disrespectful we leave work before her and don’t answer our phones after hours/day off. I don’t understand the obsession with doing all this extra work for barely pay? Misery really does love company

End rant
