During our 1:1s he praises that I do my work really well but he also mentions how he expects me to ask him what I can do during slow days. I do all the assigned tasks listed and he expects more from me? I feel like my manager wants me to go above and beyond. I gets tasks done efficiently and when I’m done with the work I get rewarded with more work. I feel that there is no clear goals and we just get overworked and things keep piling on especially on busy days.
