So I found out over the weekend that one of my managers is using the security camera
audio to listen to our conversations at work.
One of my coworkers was having a conversation with the boss and he said “oh yeah I heard you say that earlier”. about some shit he wasn’t even there to hear. Then when confronted about it he got defensive and wouldn’t talk about it.
It sucks because I really don’t mind this job, it’s a desk job that I don’t completely hate and it’s in my field I have a degree in so I want to stay for a while to get some experience.
It’s also this manager that acts so cool with me like we’re friends and now I find out he’s spying on me.
I’m one of the top employees in the small office and the job is so laid back that I really have nothing to worry about, it just doesn’t sit right with me knowing that they’re listening to me without my consent.
