I work in retail and I have a major issue with my department manager. My manager got angry with me because she asked me to come in early and I said maybe. She asked me a few days before if I would come in early and I said maybe and that I would text her if I could or not. The next day I text her telling her that I couldn't come in and that I would be at at work at my scheduled time. On the day she calls me and is screaming at me asking me where I am and why I am not at work. I told her that I texted her beforehand but she responded that she didn't see it. She threatened to write me up. I am furious because I have done nothing wrong but got yelled at and threatened. I am really thinking about going to HR over this. Any advice?
