Manager knows 0% about my job and I spend all my time explaining it

What would you do in this situation? A few months ago, my tech company hired an overarching manager for three ‘teams’ that are very roughly related. This manager KNOWS NOTHING about my specialty/daily work. I spend 75% of my day justifying and/or explaining my work via slides and meetings. Additionally, this manager never stands up for my team when executives question things. Since they don’t understand the intricacies of the work, they instead ask me to make a deck, host a sync (I really hate corporate lingo) and explain every detail about something very complicated. Then said Manager will smile and tell me they aren’t trying to be a micromanager… I’ve had multiple ‘learning sessions’ with my boss to explain the specialty but it’s not an easy subject to just easily understand. How do I go about having a manager like this? I feel like I’m losing my mind.
