Manager threatening to cancel my vacation day before Thanksgiving

At the beginning of the year before joining my new company I booked a month long trip for my wife and I to her home country on the other side of the planet. When getting hired at my current job, I made it clear this was happening & was told no problem, you have unlimited PTO. A few months ago I received a new manager. I spoke to them about this & they approved the request in our HR app. In our most recent QBR, I reminded everyone present, which included leadership up to the SVP level of my trip with specific dates.

No one said anything.

I added the dates to my manager's calendar. No objection.

Yesterday I brought it up again & now my manager is acting like I never told them about it. They're treating me like I tried to sneak this behind their back & I'm abandoning my position, when I was the only person to meet and exceed their quota on my team this past quarter.

This has left me full of anxiety and dread. I absolutely cannot enjoy my Thanksgiving weekend with this hanging over me. Yesterday I was also diagnosed by a doctor with severe depression and severe anxiety, which this has only exasperated.

After reminding my manager of all the documentation proving we've discussed this, including their signed approval, they doubled down and acted like I was still in the wrong.

On top of this, I actually already rescheduled the trip because of a work event that was strongly encouraged to be present for. I have done more than enough on my part to be a team player and make efforts communicating this. I told my manager I moved my trip for the event & they thanked me for it.

I have a meeting with my manager & their leader after Thanksgiving, not HR, to discuss this. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should get HR involved.
