massive hour cuts

I posted on here a bit ago about my manager at my retail job threatening to cut my hours if i didn’t get more people to sign up for rewards – i tried really hard to get my sign ups up (and succeeded) and now i wish i hadn’t bothered because today me and literally every last other employee at the store had their hours cut severely. all full timers have gone down to 25 a week (the minimum that’s considered full time), me and the other part timers have all had our hours cut at least in half. i’ve gone from 20 to 10 hours, one of my coworkers has gone down to 6. there absolutely no warning or discussion of this, we all found out at once when we saw our schedules being adjusted. supposedly this due to the store not making enough money even though we more…

i’m just wondering what they think is gonna happen here. do they think people are just gonna stay in these conditions? do they not think that if I could afford to only work 10 hours a week i would?? me and literally everyone else is looking for new jobs as soon as possible and quite a few of us will be filing for constructive dismissal. see how that makes the higher ups feel about “labor costs.”
