Maybe fired b/c wife is pregnant?

I have been working for an organization in Texas for 1 year and 10 months. My wife and I have been doing ivf for the past 6 months and was able to have a successful transfer Sept 5th. My direct supervisor has been very supportive and excited for us during this whole process. My supervisor was on a 1 week vacation when all of this happened. Anyways, we had our first ultrasound Monday Sept 25th. I let HR, and my temp supervisor know the Friday before (we had to schedule for an earlier appointment). I work office staff and all of my responsibilities have been complete and on time my entire time working here. I am not sure if it is even worth the bill speaking to a lawyer with Texas being an at-will state. If anyone knows what the proper avenues are, anything helps.
