Meetings scheduled for your Start-time

Never been a fan of the “meeting first thing in the morning” because it forces you to be early. Nobody wants to be the person strolling in late interrupting the conversation. Now, things are Hybrid, so even going into the Office, we do not always have Rooms booked for our meetings, and they end up being done over WebEx anyway. Now you’re adding the Laptop into the mix. That takes a few minutes to boot up and get logged into the VPN, and then into Outlook so I can read any emails that might pertain to the meeting we’re about to have, and then get signed into the WebEx. So, even when you work from home, an 8:30am WebEx may call for you sitting at your desk around 8:10/8:15. Not a huge deal when you are working remotely, but I feel like it is the principle of the situation that…
