I know this isn’t necessarily antiwork but I’m so anxious that I need to post this somewhere.
My company does lobby days and my boss let me know that somehow the folders from 2013-2015 are missing. I tried doing a restore but the furthest restore-from date available still doesn’t have them.
I feel so sick I might puke. I don’t know how they would’ve been deleted. I never went like “right click and delete.”
I don’t know how this happened and I’m terrified to reply to my boss.
I assume I had to have deleted them but idk how. Also in our remote network we Dont have a trash can that I can go see if they were dropped into.
My biggest work fear is getting into trouble which I know sounds dumb and simp-y but it’s true.
Anyways I’m waiting for our IT guy to respond
