So I WFH for an ins company. Crazy metrics, micromanaged like hell, etc. it’s a call center so sometimes while I am doing my notes from the the call I was on, I will chat with my co-workers on a call. Since we don’t work in an office, it’s the only human interaction I get when people aren’t yelling at me over shit I can’t control.
I’m a top performer, exceed what the metrics are for the job , etc.
Was pulled into a meeting today over it and now it’s up to HR what happens.
I just wanted to talk to my friends here and there and now I might get fired over it.
