Now as one might expect for a brand new branch, staffing was a little bit chaotic, and overtime was given out freely. Of course Massachusetts differs from Nevada in several key ways, one of which is requiring overtime to be paid out at 1.5 times the HOURLY minimum wage for all staff, with no exception for TIPPED employees. Thus, an employee with a tipped hourly of $5, would get paid overtime at $22.50 an hour.
