minimum effort for minimum pay

I went balls to the wall for this company for a year since I was new to IT. I had zero work experience and only got hired because A) they pay shit and i accepted that B) They were desperate for workers C) I faked good people skills (i'm an introvert but acted like an extrovert). Forward 1 year and I only got a dollar raise after 3 months of passing probation. Needless to say inflation is making me get paid LESS, and I was passed up for a raise until they see “improvements” in my work. Well they ain't getting shit. I got my 1 year of IT experience and am leaving in January. My work effort has decreased, I am no longer stressed about getting fired and all this was would change if they paid me more.
