Most employers don’t pay enough to live close by

When you really think about it. Most employers pay in a way that requires you to commute in from a cheaper area. Pretty much I wish I could make the money I make without having to drive to Indianapolis for work. I hate going to the city for any reason, especially when my work strips me of my ability to carry most weapons. That being said, my work pays $10ish an hour more than anything I could make in the community I live in. That isn’t unique to my work as much as it is a symptom of me commuting to a more expensive area for work while living in a cheaper area, like most commuters do. Few people live in an expensive area and commute to a cheaper area for work. I just wish there was work locally in my community that afforded me the life I’d like to…

Few people live in an expensive area and commute to a cheaper area for work. I just wish there was work locally in my community that afforded me the life I’d like to live and offered the pay I feel my skills are worth.
