Despite paying a cleaning company to tidy the office bathrooms, trash, etc., we are also expected to complete a list of Clean-Up Crew Duties and Responsibilities on a rotating schedule. If your department does not complete the assigned duties for your week, then you get a passive aggressive email from the executive assistant. Additionally, we are only required to go into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, but still need to clean even if you're literally not in office.
While I will always clean up after myself in shared office spaces, why am I expected to also clean up after all of my coworkers? I am salaried and the company makes over $300 million in revenue. They barely pay me so I shouldn't be surprised they cut corners any way they can, but come on.
We have fancy teams visiting this week so they made sure to send the clean up schedule to prep for their arrival. Guess whose supposed to clean this week …
