so as the title goes, we both work in a retail store with loyalty (rewards). there is huge emphasis on which store/district has the most new loyalties signed up and it can effect the “rating” of a store.
but anyways, i had something on hold and i wanted to be rang up before she left so i brought it up to her (she was leaving soon.)
and then she made remarks about how i “buy too much” on my shifts even though i allow myself to buy stuff under one purchase per day. plus i haven't been working for 3 days so i don't understand why is matters so much? (i'm another assistant manager + when we ring employees up they cant use their own rewards, so in the system it counts as a non loyalty purchase.) plus we could always use money, we're a store in a mall that doesn't get a lot of traction anymore due to the covid pandemic.
and then closer to when she was leaving, i had to ring her up because she was standing in line with a friend.
idk if its right for me to upset, but i don't think its fair for her to put me on blast like that when we don't even have any rules saying that we can't buy things on the clock/off the clock.
