Antiwork

My boss definitely hates me. I need to a way to minor-ly inconvenience them.

So I work in an office-corporate-like environment. One of those ones where we sit in joined cubicles per department. Ever since I started working here I’ve had a problem with my now current boss. Her attitude sucks and I’ve never gotten along with her. She talks to everyone in a condescending tone and is a classic narcissist who only cares about talking about personal things if it has to do with herself. It seems as though every time someone asks her a question about our job it’s met with attitude like we should know what we’re doing and it’s a bother to ask her any questions. It really bothers me when she does this to fairly new people that really don’t know the job fully yet. She did this to me before she rose to the position she’s in now. So I work in an office-corporate-like environment. One of those ones where we sit in joined cubicles per department. Ever since I started working here I’ve had a problem with my now current boss. It seems as though every time someone asks her a question about our job it’s met with attitude like we should know what we’re doing and it’s a bother to ask her any questions. It really bothers me when she does this to fairly new people that really don’t know the job fully yet. She did this to me before she rose to the position she’s in now. It got to the point to where I had to beg my old boss to put me in training with someone else because I was tired of the way she treated me.
Since then my current boss has had it out for me. To the point to where she’s argumentative over everything I ask her and I feel like I’m dumb for not remembering something. She nitpicks, micromanages and seems to pay attention to my work more than anyone else’s.
It’s exhausting being around her to the point to where I’ve requested to be moved out of her department twice now to no avail.
I know you guys may say “well why not quit and get a new job?” Easier said than done in this small town where the only other options are to work in a factory or fast food for less pay and less benefits. Needless to say this company has me by the balls when it comes to the benefits that it entails. And the job itself isn’t horrible, I sit down all day and work in a call center. I have also brought my issues with her attitude to her boss and have been told BS answers.
BUT Recently she’s been on one. A few weeks ago my grandmother was in the hospital and I needed to step out for a couple minutes to call my mom and make sure everything was okay. When I said this she said “well hurry up because “A” is about to go on lunch”. This was completely uncalled for considering it wouldn’t affect anything since there were several others available to take calls and it wouldn’t majorly impact the department itself. I was gone for 5 whole minutes.
She also recently moved me and my work bestie across the department from each other. When asked why because we haven’t been told we’ve been loud or anything, she said “I feel it will help everyone better focus”. It’s hard not to take this personally when we had our reviews a couple weeks ago and weren’t told we were doing anything wrong, in fact it was the opposite.
Until I can leave this job and move onto something better or at least move departments I want to minimally inconvenience her. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?
I thought about put a tiny shrimp under her desk and waiting but idk I don’t want to do anything that would cause anyone else any strife lol.
