Hello. So i started working about a month ago at an Italian Restaurant where a good friend of mine worked as a Pizza Chef.
They where looking for a Line Cook, so he called me (my friend) and proposed me to go work there. I gladly accepted as he is one of my best friends adn workinh again with him looked like a good thing.
No issue woth the Head Chef or the kitchen staff in general.
Sunday, at closing, i heard my boss talking to another Pizza Chef and speak poorly of my friend, saying bad things about his Pizza Making skills and how he wanted to replace him.
He saw me, but kept saying it regardless of my presence. I immediately told my friend, that was off that day.
My boss then called me and my frined in his office on Monday and told me i would be fired at the end of the week, and that what i told my friend was not true . yesterday after getting i've been fired.
Fun fact, this morning my friend calls me telling me the boss told him that he is no longer needed as he found a better Pizza Chef.
