I work at a restaurant and I work hard. My old boss was the best he understood I had a life outside of work and knew I could become better over times.
Unfortunately he left for a better job because the higher ups wanted more money but less labor hours .
Well my current boss let's call asshat came in he use to be a regional manager ( i.e no human social skills at all or understood employees ) he fired one employee who was a tool but he was good at his job for night shift. He started changing the whole dynamic of the back of the house and rearrange the tools we need to work. Now I'm a short person so all the shit I need to complete my job on the top shelf so I have to climb risking my safety.
Another incident he had my co worker and friend clean behind the burners and fryers while they where on. A jets of fire popping out while there meanwhile asshat is just standing around doing nothing at all. While my friend is in a very hazardous situation.
It get worse and worse for everyone back there. He leaves at 8pm every time while we clean up everything at night ( he added more cleaning we have to do but not him lol). Asshat wants to look good for upper management so he cuts hours down completely screwing everyone.
I'm taking up any hours ppl can't make due to him not asking about people's schedules outside of work. I once got written up for “talking to much” I like to have a good day at my job fml . Everyone knows his write ups are bs.
I'm looking at working a remote job and saying screw his shit show.
Sorry I'm just hyper pissed off.
