I work a retail job for just over minimum wage. I have open availability, because openly available colleagues get more hours than closed. Anyway, this means that my manager can schedule me for anytime of the day/night. Today she announced that there’s a new shift we should be expecting to see, starting at 3:30 IN THE MORNING. I can’t believe how casually she told us that now we’re expected to wake up for work in the middle of the fucking night. For literal pocket change. I need to get a new job 🥲
