Just came out of a meeting this afternoon with my union rep, line manager and HR. I am ASC and therefore a protected characteristic.
LM denied telling me I was being hostile earlier this month, instead throwing another manager under the bus for that; instead rolling it back by saying “I was abrupt” with her, which was a barefaced lie. Continually tells me she is there to help, when she has been complicit in toxic behaviour, and my mental health has been a rollercoaster for months because of her and the other managers.
When asked if I was being harassed or bullied in work, I told her “I can't tell”. She was 'worried' about what I had told her, and that I didn't know the distinction. In truth, I'm not about to go nuclear in my job by telling her and HR that four staff members (her included) are collectively bullying and harassing me.
The kicker? She said that if someone was bullying me, she would be there in a flash to report and ensure it was properly dealt with. So, if Big Boss was the one bullying me, she would report her own boss? Not likely.
So, any thoughts on how to deal with four managers that seem to have it in for me?
