Decided on going back to college in the Fall. Pushing through dental school.
Thought it would be fun during the Summer to take up a job detailing boats. My boss promised me 19/hour plus overtime for working 40 hours. Never worked as physically hard in my life.
About half way through hiring us he decided he wanted to cut back on number of employees he had, so he pushed us to quit over the course of 2-3 weeks by intentionally being a dick.
He texts me to come in for work on Saturday and had to cancel plans I had with my family. Told me he had my paycheck. I told him I was quitting after today. Showed up and worked 12 hours of overtime and made sure I did a great job.
Waited for him to show up and never did. Long story short… one month later he stole 3 paychecks and blocked my cell #. Owes me 2100. Welcome to America.
This “boss” owns a half a million dollar home and drives a Mercedes.
