i usually work a couple hours a day and cant have more hours due to the nature of my job. my boss found out last year she was supposed to give us a 10 minute rest break so we all got breaks. this year she essentially told us “sorry guys, but if you dont work a full four hours you dont get a break” and took away our breaks. i pointed out company policy is 3.5 hours, not 4. instead of just conceding and giving us a break (which really doesnt impede anyones work at all) she shortened my hours so i dont need a break. now i get off 15 minutes early with no break. shes been starting to obviously dislike me for standing up for myself at work and im sure im not the only one who thinks its a dick move to give breaks and then take them away. i used to love this job and now its just pissing me off because it’s obvious our work relationship is souring. i only have 3 more months of work before i move away and leave this job. im debating if i should just find another job for these few months and lose the good pay or suck it up for 12 more weeks. in conclusion my boss is a dickhead.
