My boss told me I come across as a “know it all”

I didn’t get a promotion because I didn’t have “as much experience” and because feedback she has been given is that I am a “know it all.” She could not provide any context, examples, clarity, ways that I can improve – nothing. She could not tell me where I was lacking in experience or where the others who got the job were stronger. I was honest in stating that I was disappointed and frustrated, and did not understand how I had been deemed a “know it all.” I brought up examples of when 2 other coworkers had been visibly upset around all of us at the office, but she pretended like she did not know what I was referring to… I explained, and pointed out that these two instances were in front of the entire team.

She then abruptly ends the meeting. We silently walk out. After a minute of very uncomfortable silent walking she states, “I’m going to (cafe).”

Then, I get back to my desk. She gets back to hers a moment later. And immediately sends out the email stating 2 of my coworkers are promoted and they brought in an outside hire.

Good thing I get to have a meeting with her and two others right after this…

She asks my coworker if they are having the meeting and they decide yes, completely ignoring me. I walk in, sit down, and barely say a word for an hour. They laugh like they’re having the time of their lives but I might as well have just not shown up- I was completely invisible and ignored. Didn’t want to be a “know it all” right… Then 5pm hits, and my boss snaps her head to me and says in the fakest high-pitched voice, “(My name), it’s time for you to go, isn’t it?” Because I’m hourly and they are salaried…

I’m going to HR. I have an hour commute to work and back. I don’t need this. I wish I could just quit… Any other advice appreciated. F my life
