My building manager just got me so upset.

So I just clocked out and went to change and came back to the front desk (at an office building in the city) to double check that everything was set and put away for the weekend. I’m putting on my backpack to head out, as it’s 5:01, one minute after I clocked out and I’m ready to take a step to leave and the building manager (who I don’t work for but he manages the building I’m in which my company outsources employees too… so people get all uptight when he comes to ensure job security) But this time, he saw me in my tank top at the desk (mind you I’m getting ready to walk away from the desk, it’s a Friday, i clocked out already and it’s 86 degrees today) and he started to say “you can’t change behind the desk, what the hell are you doing, move…

Then he just turned around and walked away. One of his workers apologized and said “sorry” for me, and I told that person not to apologize as I was off the clock and he had no right to react that way. Work becuase of people like this can be so upsetting… smh. Have you guys ever dealt with upsetting higher ups like this?
