Yesterday, my company terminated one of their employee saying that their expertise are no longer needed. During her conversation with the HR manager she was told that due to the financial issues the company has decided to cut down the marketing team. They'll see for about another month and do something accordingly.
Now I'm the only content writer with expertise in SEO, social mediaa ads, email campaigns and more. However, at the moment i do seen disposable to them because company's favourite people have been moved to another department.
I'm thinking of resigning but at the same time the thought of not having a job before resigning gives me anxiety. At the same time, I don't want to give them the satisfaction of terminating me. I'm really confused on how to move forward.
A few other things, my boss has a very weird attitude towards me. And he asked me to write a contant copy for their new website which i think will be my last work. Since he has asked for submission on 31st August and the person who has been terminated is also leaving on 31st.
Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. And I apologize if my thoughts seem disoriented.
