So we are in a bit of a dilemma. My wife and I work for the same company. We are at different branches and working in different departments (shes a showroom manager and im in customer service/warehousing). My wife has been pursuing other employment and got an offer at a competitor.
She put in her 2 weeks notice and the company I work for is saying if she takes that job, they will more than likely let me go because of a conflict of interest.
This seems iffy to me. Should I contact a Labor Lawyer?
